VISION 2060

VISION 2060 is Southeastern Wisconsin’s next regional plan. It will present a long-term vision for land use, growth, and transportation, guiding the decisions and investments needed to support a connected and thriving Region, its communities and landscapes, for decades to come.

What is VISION 2060?

VISION 2060 is the major update to Southeastern Wisconsin’s regional land use and transportation plan. It builds on decades of regional dialogue and planning, including VISION 2050, and its planning process is now underway.

The Plan

What it is

VISION 2060 will guide decisions about land use, transportation, and development in the seven counties of Southeastern Wisconsin. It updates VISION 2050, the current regional plan, to reflect how Southeastern Wisconsin has changed and where residents want it to go over the next 35 years.

Why it matters

VISION 2060 will create a shared vision for how Southeastern Wisconsin grows and changes over time. As the Region's master plan and metropolitan transportation plan, it advises local governments on long-term growth and ensures we can access hundreds of millions of federal dollars invested in roads, transit, and trails.

How you shape it

We're listening to what people value now and their ideas about what could change. The plan will be shaped by input from community members, organizations, and businesses. Visit the project page to learn more about how to get involved.
