The Root River watershed restoration plan is a second-level plan developed in the context of the 2007 regional water quality management plan update for the Greater Milwaukee watersheds. The plan provides specific, targeted recommendations to address four major focus areas: water quality, recreational use and access, habitat conditions, and flooding.
