Kenosha Area Transit Planning

Commission staff regularly assist Kenosha Area Transit in its planning efforts, including recently initiating a new short-range transit plan for the system.

Kenosha Area Transit Planning

At the request of the City of Kenosha, the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is conducting a transit plan to consider potential bus route changes for Kenosha Area Transit. This planning process will include a review and evaluation of existing bus services, the development of potential bus route alternatives, and public outreach.

An open house is scheduled for Thursday, September 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Kenosha Emerging Leaders Academy, located at 2222 63rd Street, Kenosha, 53143. The input received will help shape potential bus route improvements for Kenosha Area Transit. Please see the flyer for more information.

In addition to the open house, input is encouraged through the online survey.
