2004 Federal Transportation Planning Certification Review

Every three years the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) must jointly certify that the transportation planning process is being carried out in accordance with Federal law. A joint FHWA and FTA review team conducted a triennial review of the transportation planning carried out by the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) in August and September, 2004. As a part of that formal review, a public hearing was held on September 28, 2004 to solicit public input.

The executive summary attempts to summarize the findings and recommendations of the joint FHWA and FTA review, and the full report documents the complete findings and recommendations.
