Advisory Committee

The new Milwaukee County Transit System development plan will be developed under the guidance of the Milwaukee County Transit Development Program Advisory Committee, whose members have been appointed by the Milwaukee County Executive. The Advisory Committee will be responsible for proposing to Milwaukee County and the Commission, after careful study and evaluation, a recommended transit system development plan identifying the transit operating and capital improvements for the Milwaukee County Transit System which should be implemented from 2009 through 2013. The Advisory Committee will provide guidance to the technical staffs in the preparation of this plan, and will serve to involve concerned and affected public officials and citizen leaders more directly and actively in the design and evaluation of transit improvement and funding proposals.

The Advisory Committee will meet throughout the preparation of the new Milwaukee County Transit System development plan. Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public.
