The Southeastern Regional Planning Commission is soliciting comments on ten proposed amendments to the “Transportation Improvement Program for Southeastern Wisconsin: 2011-2014”. A public review and comment period will be held through Wednesday, May 16, 2012. One of the ten amendments would revise a project currently in the TIP. The remaining nine proposed amendments represent the addition of new projects to the TIP.
These ten proposed amendments would be considered by the Advisory Committees on Transportation Planning and Programming for the Kenosha, Milwaukee, and Racine Urbanized Areas. The Advisory Committees are being asked to review the proposed amendments, and indicate their approval or disapproval through postcard vote by Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Results of the postcard vote will be posted on the Commission's website on May 17, 2012.
Copies of the proposed amendments are also available from the Commission offices. Commission staff is available weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to meet with the public and to answer any questions concerning the proposed amendments.
Written comments may be provided via the U.S. Postal Service or may be submitted electronically via e-mail, and should be received no later than Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Please submit them to:
